Now that restaurants have reopened, many things will have changed to incorporate new Covid safe practices. One of these is cleaning, we are all much more aware of how easy it is for bacteria to spread and the harm and devastation it can cause.
With this in mind deep sanitising must become part of our regular cleaning regime. Manual cleaning with disinfectant is best practice to eradicate surface bacteria, if this is done alongside ULV Fogging then airbourne pathogens and hard to reach places will be kept germ free too.
Alongside return to the work-place cleans and our regular cleaning we also offer a one off ULV Fogging service. If someone in your restaurant has shown symptoms of Covid 19 or indeed been diagnosed with it, we can quickly and easily sanitise the work-space using ULV Fogging.
What is ULV Fogging?
ULV fogging disperses a fine mist or fog of high grade disinfectant that kills 99.999% of pathogens. The particles are so small that they remain suspended in the air long enough to kill both airbourne and surface based viruses and bacteria. It is far reaching so eliminates pathogens in hard to reach places; ceilings, walls, crevices as well as furniture, floors and equipment, leaving them safe to use.
We use Steri-7 in our fogging machines, this high-grade disinfectant kills 99.999% of pathogens and has reactive technology so keeps surfaces protected for up to 7 Days between cleans.
Once an initial clean has been carried out the ULV Fogging can be carried out with minimal disruption. Premises need to be empty when this is carried out but can be occupied again in 30 minutes.
ULV Fogging – Safely Reopen Your Restaurant
To maintain the highest level of hygiene and peace of mind, we carry out ULV fogging either daily, several times a week or weekly. This is applicable if your restaurant is being cleaned on a regular basis by us or your usual cleaner. We would come and use the ULV fogger throughout the restaurant to help eradicate pathogens. ULV fogging does not work on areas with dust or debris.
This is a monthly deep sanitising manual clean, using Steri-7 on key touch points and surfaces, followed by ULV Fogging throughout the restaurant. This will help to keep your restaurant germ free and safer for staff and customers.
This could be a mixture of the two, maybe weekly Steri-7 on touch points and surfaces and ULV fogging once a week. The fit is up to you.
We use Steri-7 Extra for this purpose. They have developed a revolutionary system called Reactive Barrier Technology, a specialised micro emulsion which provides an optional sustained release system and offers powerful and sustained protection between cleans.
In the most basic terms, once a surface has been cleaned using Steri-7 to kill bacteria and germs, the area is then sprayed and Steri-7 left to dry. It is reactivated again with moisture, i.e. when touched and can last up to 7 Days. So not only does Steri-7 destroy it protects too.
We love Steri-7 as although it is extremely harmful to pathogens, when used at manufacturers recommended dilutions it is not harmful to anything or anyone, including the environment.
